Default TOP SPEED 250

What is everyones top speeds for trailblazers, if you got any mods
please say what they are. My wifes bike is a 2000 trailblazer 250
with a Aaen pipe and clutch kit, 11 c/s sprocket and a 38 rear sprocket
and it barely goes 45 on a good day.

Hello HIPPY. Both of my Trailblazers do about 42 according to my GPS. Both quads are stock. I am quite happy with the speed because it is more than fast enough for the trails around here. Besides, I like the low speed torque; so its unlikely I will clutch either of them.

The top speed clocked before I sold my moded TB was 67mph. If yours only does 45 with the pipe and clutch kit then something is very wrong. It should do 45 stock.

43 by GPS on the wife's stock Blazer. She won't let me add anything to make it faster.

I hope that 250 going 67 was heavily modified or else I'm selling my 400 and 650. I've had 6 250's and they would go over 45 on pavement downhill with a tailwind. Sand dunes, don't expect anything over 35.I piped and clutched one and it had a little more on top end, but the stocker was just as fast the first 100 feet because it would engage and just start moving along quicker. If you can, get a 400 with a pipe and clutch kit. It's a world of differance and they ride better.
