they might have got 55 on dirt. dirt does limit your speed quite a bit. i can get a little over 60 on the road, while i can get about 45 on the dirt.

Im not downing the 800, I just like the atvs when you can chose what kind of 4x4 you want, instead of it engages at certain times.

you can jam the clutch into operating full time 4x4 by turning on AWD, going into reverse, back up with overide on, and shift into forward, its jammed, and you have full time 4x4, just turn the machine off and back on and its back in 2x4

That was slight uphill and probably didnt air them out all the way up to top speed, that takes some distance.
I've had my 700 carb speedo barried a couple times on dirt roads, 66mph easy!

Also the 800 was SLIGHTLY slower that the BF and that's with 170 more pounds. The SP800 was quicker to 20 mph.

Check out the video on my website - it shows the 800 racing a 500 but when you see me going down the straight, according to the speedometer, I was hitting 65. This wasn't a long stretch and the quad had maybe 5 miles on it. I'll have to wind it you sometime when its broke in and show it on GPS sometime when it gets a little warmer here. On my Carb'd 04 700, I was able to get a top speed of 65mph per speedometer.

ATV magazine is stupid. I just got the latest with the big bore shootout and those guys are on crack. They couldn't even make up their minds which quad was quicker to twenty MPH.
