Default pipe noise?????????

Im looking at pipeing my 05 pred, the question is how or where do i find out what type of noise, or decibels noise it will have,, here in wisconsin you are not allowed to have a pipe that has noise of 96 decibels on the A scale ,, they say the DNR is creating rules to determine how ATV noise is to be measured... so when you look at buying pipe dose it tell you decibels numbers?????????????????????

I would contact a local atv dealer and see if they have any equipment to do the decibel testing for exhaust systems. Also the DNR should be able to do a test for you as well and let you know, the only bad thing about that is if you fail they will prolly be looking for you in the future, but you never know.

I know a couple weeks ago a there was a decibel testing session up in Wausau that was organized by a club and the ice racers in the area so the riders would know if they were legal or not.

This is a pretty good site to use: http://www.motobill.com/

They organize the ice races and do radar runs and sound testing at times.

I think the Pure Polaris is under 96, and you also get a quite core with it.
