Hi. my dad came home from work today and he poulled in im like oh **** what did he break... well i was right the waterpump/alternator,powersteering and fan belt all in one... broke i think his water pump went becuas i can turn the altonator by hand and the powersteering by haND BUT THE WATER PUMP IS LIKE TURNS HALF WAY AND THEN IS STUCK.. I THINK IT DEAD BUT I DONT KNOW I DONT WANT TO SPEND MONEY FOR NOTHING SO I RESALT TO MY SEACRET WEPON YOU GUYS... OH YEAH HE ALLWAYS BACKS UP THE DRIVWAY AND THE ONLY TIME HE PULLS IN IS IF THE SNOW IS DEEP OR HE BROKE SOMTHING...

 

YEP, sounds like the water pump is locked down.

 

Yea the water pump should turn real easy by hand,sounds like a bearing is down in it.

Yea I would get a new one. If you got one from a junkyard it might be bad or go out in a few months and then your back to the same problem.

 

Yea go to the zone or advanced auto, some places have a lifetime on them, more than likely they are remans but thats the way to go.also id flush the system while you are at it.

 

yeah i got the 30$ one from the zone. i almost forgot that it has a 92 pickup motor in it.... it a 1989 van the old motor like well kabooom....the water pump is difrenton the van 6 and the pickup six [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

well it turns out it was not the waterpump! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img] ! it the damn airpump for the dumbass emition laws... bitch tree hugers pissis me of if i had it my way wed all be driving 5000HP DIESEL TRuCKS DAMIT.
and leded gas in are damn nice looking muscel cars bitches!
