Ok I have narrowed it down to an eiger auto and a sportsman 400. I wish the eiger had a diff lock switch But seems like a good quad. I like the polaris, all i have ridden was the 500 , and i liked the ride. Ive heard alot bad things about the sportsman and seems it is always breaking. What do u guys think

Go with the sportsman ... the eiger is nice ... but dones't have the ride or power of a sportsman. All machines have troubles ... it's more on how one takes care of their machine, then if the machines it's self.

 

I have no experience with the eiger so I can't comment on it but I have rode the 400's and they ride as smooth as my 700. I like the polaris brand and there are dealers close to my home which is great too. it's all going to depend on what your looking for in a quad and what your gonna use it for. you have to ask yourself these questions first and then maybe go to both dealers and test ride each of them to see which one you'd be more happy with. good luck.

i thought you were looking at a kfx400? i have an ozark and i want a z or kfx. i really like the new up grades the sp has but there is a good size gap in price. is any dealers giving you any deals.

i decided to go with a utility and my ozark is an 01 and is really beat up sold for 800
