Help, does anyone know where I can buy a new or used (preferably side load) trailer that will fit 2 Sportsman 700's?? I'm located in upstate NY. Thanks

I have a Triton SL8 sideload 2 place trailer with the ramps on the side that fold up like walls. It works good and weighs only 300 lbs.
You should be able to get one for $1000-1200.

ps. you can also go the cheeper route of buying a 14' maintanence type trailer with the rear ramp, like they use for landscaping. You can get them at any trailer dealer or Tractor Supply etc.
Look for used trailers of all types in the auto/RV swapper.

 

I bought a Triton XT10-101 tilt trailer and it works great and fits both quads on it, you can load either from the back or side. I got mine from a local harley/polaris dealer down the road from my home for $981 out the door. nice thing about the aluminum trailers is that they won't rust and hold their value for later resale, steel trailers rust and are priced about the same but alot heavier. you can go to gander mountain, they carry the "Carry-On" brand of steel trailers which is the same brand tractor supply co. and lowes both carry. you can get a 14x7 with or without the side ramp for $900

 

I use my snowmobile trailer for my ATV's.

 

I'm assuming that you are looking for an affordable trailer, the best bet is to look around your area, watch the local and surrounding area's newspapers....trailers are everywhere.....I bought my 6.6'x16' dual axle trailer for $1K, 3 months old. It has twin 3500 pound axles and it is a reinforced model, not the cheapo ones I've seen around before....

is the sl8 the inline two place aluminum trailer with the fold down gate? if so that is the one I should have gotten but didn't, I guess i was not very patient, how much did you get it for? new or used? got pics so we can see, I may decide to sell my tilt trailer to get the triton inline two place aluminum which I believe is the sl8

 

If you lived close to me or were willing to come to Alberta Canada I would custom make a trailer for you priced under 1200.00 cdn

If you're looking for an inexpensive steel trailer, look at JB Enterprise trailers in Indiana. These are all 8 1/2 foot wide trailers for snowmobiles. Some are tilt, some with front/rear ramps. Shown below are what a few of them sold for at the Whitestar snowmobile auction in Feb. I bought the 12' two years ago for $650, added an axle and an aluminum enclosure. I keep the rust down on the trailer by coating everything with that sticky tar like undercoating in spay cans. Seems to do the job.
