I need to get some new front tires for my scrambler tto replace the factory at 489's. I am really looking for a stearing tire more then anything else and I plan to put them on aluminuim rims. .190 I mainly blast around fire roads and sandy/grassey trails. I am thinking of the following tires. there only a 2 ply, nut I have always heard great things about them as a trail rider.
front max.
I have alos been considering the maxis front pro that comes standard on the predator and possible holeshots or holeshot hd's to go with the hole shots I have out back.
off topic, but does anyone have arc corona riding boots? how do they fit/feel i need to get a pair of riding boots soon.

im partial to the razr and razr2's the 2's are a better tire in mud and wet stuff for steering. like bbs said to, try to stay with a 6 ply or at least 4.

My XCT's are awesome, there a great all around tire, and i get plenty of traction in damp, muddy conditions, plus they look sweet lol. They were great in ditches, trails, sand, mud, and just for rippin around on tracks...good tire

the kenda klaws are sweet tires. great for all conditions. you cant even compare them to the stock tires. my 489s would always push in mud, sand, gravel... anything. the klaws handle like its on rails.

I was thinking more the design. I may go with the maxis front pro(2, 4, and 6 ply) since its directional. since I am two wheel drive I really don't need a tire to add unneccasary resistance in the mud. just something to carve around with. I've thought of the holeshots since I already have holeshots out back.
I try to stay out of mud most the time with my filter setup its easy to suck in water if I splash into water fast.
