Jimmy- I did not take any offense by the comment (Sorry, didn't mean to imply you did have a problem at the Mounds with the stockers, just know that won't be the case now!) I Knew you didn't mean anything by it and I wasn't trying to sound upset or anything about it. sorry if I came off that way. I agree with you that I would like to see a bit more info about the mod, like does it come with all the heat shields and gaskets? sportsman70003 just did the mod and posted up some pics, he said his header he bought off ebay came with the heat shields but I have not seen any more 800 headers on ebay since. I looked on www.polarisoemparts.com and you can get the 800 header for $76 but then I think you have to order the heat shields and the header gasket seperately probably be about $125 after it's all said and done. sportsman70003 also said that the sound with the header didn't change much but you could definitly tell it was on there. I think I will get the header and the snorkle next though cause everyone who knows me knows I can't keep anything stock. LOL I have to Mod the heck out of everything I own.

 

They have somemore headers on ebay but the price went up. Click here for the header. The header pipe on ebay comes with the heat sheilds and you can do as I did and reuse your gaskets front & back.

800 AIRBOX SNORKLE MOD
Airduct/snorkle- 5435932 $19.16
Airduct/snorkle gasket- 5411422 $3.96

both of these mods can be done without replacing the gaskets/seals due to them being the same part number as stock 600/700/800 models are all the same part number. the 800 header mod without gaskets will cost $81.23 and the Airduct/snorkle modwithout the gasket is $19.16. It woult make more sense to order the snorkle at the same time as the headpipe cause then you wouldn't have to pay any shipping due to it all being over $50.
