ds carb

Default ds carb

is it true that the ds carb is the same as the predator? I want to send my carb to doug for his mod but dont want to quit rideing for a week and a guy i know has a ds with a different carb on it that i might be able to get. Or if anyone has a carb for sale let me know thanks

This is what I have heard also. I don't know for sure. I was down for a week, he only has it one day and ships it out the next.

O ok a week isent to bad was it worth it and did you get both carb mods done.

Rob.....I agree.....money well spent. Something to think about though, is what you are planning on running for an air intake?? If you get both mods, Doug would like you to run a twin air clamp on. Also, if you need help taking that carb off......just post on here......it takes a little work to get it off. Becareful and don't strip out the three screws on the throttle plate.


I'm also currently getting the 2nd carb mod done........and I plan on running one of his air filters now too..........


You'll have to tell him your altitude and average temp too.........so he can jet it close........


Best money you can spend in my opinion, if you get good air flow. That pred will wake up!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok bradracer thanks for the info i wanted to run an open filter anyways thats what i run on my lt250 and i love it. the carb looks complicated so if i need help ill post up. i prob wolnt do it till the end of the month when the credit card is paid off

I had both carb mods, and was running the Rath Intake, and my trottle response was not there, so I talked to do, and he said go with the twin air. I put the twin air on last week, and wow I have all the trottle response I want now. They are 3 out of 4 of us Preds that I ride with, have the twin air.

got my carb off and sending it to doug today im getting both mods and the twin air clampon he said it might be two weeks b/c hes really busy
