i just got a 400 because my 97 250 trail boss is shot. the frame and suspenction is good but my motor blew. my buddy wants me to take our 2 cylinder polaris snowmobile engine out and throw it in the 250. he said the only problem would be the plastics and the engine would have to be set to one side. he said it would work great and be fast. i dont think so i think it would take a lot of work. any info would be great...this would be a great project or a wast of time. what do you guys think?

 

GREAT project. alot of time maybe, but not wasted. would be a blast to ride. there are actually a few of these in the forums. check out fishslab's pics. sorry, cant remember who else sure someone will chime in tho.
