Ha, Ha. Polaris has unleased a bombshell. Two new fourstrokes and two new two strokes. This is a great new lineup. Lots of I/Q based sleds in mountain, switchback, 2up touring and performance. This is going to be a good year for Polaris

Polaris put the 2006 sleds on their website just today.

LOL, people talk about trucks, trailers and quads on this site and most anthing else you can imagine. Go over to the Yamaha forum and you will find a thread about snowmobiles. It also affects ATVs indirectly because of cross pollination of technology, so it is interesting to read what is happening elsewhere in Polaris. The last argument is that if Polaris is healthy in sleds, the company will be healthy as a whole.

It's nice to see that Polaris is still putting out new 2 stroke models.

Hey duneaholic. How about a 2 stroke 600 twin at 120 hp in a Tralblazer/Scrambler chassis? Ha,Ha
The 700 and 900 are EFI models that have twin injectors for performance, fuel economy and emissions.

Performance and fuel economy. Isn't that a oxymoron?

LOL, excellent point duneaholic. Seems with the twin injectors, one injects directly into the transfer port similar to the skidoo SDI. This gives much better fuel economy because the injection can be timed to squirt just before the transfer port closes. So you get similar benifit of direct injection without the high pressure pump. Probably thats the only way they will meet the up-and-coming emissions for sleds.

The fusions look nice, but I don't need one. I got enough stuff to play with already and don't know anyone that goes snowmobiling. Although we get alot of snow here in the mountains and Colorado is only a few hours away....

Hey I can use this argument with my wife. I can tell her I need this motor for my 4 wheeler cause it gets such good gas mileage. "But hun think of the money we'll save in gas".

ROGLMAO duneaholic. But honey, its much better for the environment!!! Hey but seriously, the SDIs get good mileage for the sleds and the 951 DIs get great mileage for the Jetskis. Unless of course you run WFO all the time. Yea, I know thats the only way to ride eh!!
