you should never take links out of chains. it will jsut wear out even faster. when you replace a chain u should always replace sprockets. if u replace one with out the other the difference in the distance between the chain pins and valleys on the sprockets is gonna be off and tear stuff up. my chain from X ring heavy duty chain from parts unlimited was 40 bucks and i got sprockets for 20 bucks a piece from jt sprockets, i havnt had to adjust it once since i put them on almost a year ago.

There is no way myself or anybody else can tell how good of a chain that is from pictures, and there are no specs on it. I would email the guy and ask where it is made. If in the US I would go for it. If made in China I would pass.
If you are going to buy the sprockets at the same time as the chain I would just run your old chain (- 1 link) on your old sprockets until all three are done and then buy a good brand of chain along with a set of sprockets.

o ring chains are normal chains. thats what almost anything and everything is these days. i would jsut save your money and spend it on a good quality chain. i got mine from dennis kirk for 40 bucks. its extremely strong. my rear sprocket was something like 20 bucks i think and my front was like 20. thats not bad at all. its only about 15 bucks more than what that stuff on ebay is and u know its good. jsut remember u should never replace the sprockets or chain by themselves, always replace them at the same time if u want it to last for any good amount of time.
