great suspension and i really like the close ratio gear box. have a friend who has the 03 and another just bought the tld. the tld out runs the std gear box because of little power drop between shifts. both are stock, the 03 wont be for long tho

I personally would get the Pred. That's my next quad. Might be a little while, but it will eventually be my next quad.

on my pic page the preddy on there is a friends. with the gearing i run 12/42 for tight woods and stuff we run side by side from a start to 4th gear on his bike, at the end of 200 yds im topped out. im sure he can out run me in the field if we had more room for him to get 5th. on the tight trails i loose him tho. id like to put my drag set up back on just once to see how we run, but that would be a pain.

I had a moded 400 Scrambler, and I loved it. I still love smelling the 2 stroke in the morning. But I had a buddy sale his 03 Trailblazer to buy is 04 Predator. He called me the day he got it, so I took it for a spin. And it was all over, I sold my Scrambler to buy the 05 Predator. I have no regrets, I love my Predator. It has to be one of the best trail quads out. I would say go for it!

Raj..love the lowering blocks.

Pooboy..what exactley is your budget?

Cause 6k for a new Preddy aint cheap..and I doubt you will see a significant price drop in late summer on the remaining 05 Preds.

But if you got 6k layin around and like to be able to back up with out gettin off your quad..then go for it!
