I assume that it is already installed.........they are a really quiet pipe anyway. I think they are a great pipe though(and many others don't)........but if you tune it right, and have other mods to accomidate it, you'll get power from it. What else have you gotten for your pred?? Any carb or intake mods yet??

Mine was not installed. And I did not use it. Just get the turn down tip from Doug....I think you will like it alot better, it has a deep tone.

Are we talking about a Predator Pure Polaris/ White Bros silencer? If so, the spark arrestor/quiet core is simply a plate with a circular perforated pipe welded on it. If you're trying to keep the noise down, it's one of the best units. And with just a bit of experimenting, you can gain some power also. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but Doug's turn-down would be a great choice for closed circuit, non DB tested racing. I'm thinking it would push you over the 96 DB range which you seem to be looking for. Any questions Nicholas Cycle always shoots straight answers if you give them a call.
