The reason you don't want to go much deeper than the pegs is because things start to leak........like getting water into your engine and stuff. Also, you don't want to go into water with your fan running either. You also will want to re route your carb vent hoses up, so water can't get in them and cause your pred to stall.



Drilling holes in the airbox is a great mod.......and doesn't destroy the box........believe me, I actually own a pred, and know quite a bit about them. You'll get a lot of power from the holes in your box. I also suggest you send your carb off to Nicholas Cycle and get atleast one of his carb mods, if not both. They are the best thing you can do for your pred.........really wakes the pred up!!!!

where do u re route your carb vent hoses to??? and how did you lose 30lbs of the predator??

Reroute the hoses up so they don't hang down so low...........and to loose weight, just look around at stuff you don't need.........the wheels and tires(stock) are really heavy..........so are a lot of other stuff.......like the skid plates, heel guards, etc.........
