WELL IVE GOT THE 38 ON THE WAY .. IS THERE ANYONE RUNNING THIS TYPE OF GEARING ON THE SAND AND IF SO FILL ME IN... IM OLD SO IM NOT MUCH FOR SPEED ANYMORE ... GIVE ME YOU RATIOS AND WHAT YOU HAVE FOUND THAT WORKS FOR YOU....

 

I have a buddy thats going with the same gearing as you. He has a think that tells him the top speed. Here is what he came up with.....9500 rpm's 67.3 mph, if you have a different cdi.....10,500 rpm's 74.6 mph.

I old to I guess, lol but I have the 13,38 on my mach for the dunes to. Or did have I have a friend with the same yr and mods as mine pred. When we hill shoot I would take him on the start and about 3/4 up the hill. Long hill also, but than he would start passing me real slowly. (and win)
I'm at 165lbs, he's at 150lbs.
My friend still has stock gearing. I have went to 14,38 now, I still pull the hole shoot. And he can no longer pass me. But he's right on my rear tho. A lot of the gearing you do depands on how big your spare tire is I guess.
