I changed the exhaust system on my Scrambler 500 yesterday and I have two hoses without a home. The first is the hose that comes off the 90 degree piece in the fuel tank and the other is under the seat by the air intake. It goes into the frame rail and the other end goes somewhere else, the hose is about 1/2" in diameter. My ATV runs like it is but I would like to know what to do with these hoses. Is the fuel tank hose just for overflow and doesn't go anywhere?

The second one is to big to be a vent, I would think, but maybe it is. So the small one on the tank doesn't go to anywhere?

Thanks

The one from the gas tank goes down the steering post.

Hey RippinScrambler,

Just noticed that you are in Indy.

Do you ever go to Attica ? Where do you ride ?

I just went to Laurel the first time last week. But I have been told the Badlands up in Attica are pretty cool, I just haven't had time to get up there yet.

The pipe I put on is the HPD pipe. The local Polaris guy recommended it. It's really helped low end (wheelie machine now!), but it's been to wet here to go test on my track to see if the laptimes are better with it.
