I was able to talk to Matt at the races in Florida and Georgia and this is how his Pred is set up. He has NO internal mods at all on the engine and only has the Pure Polaris E-2 pipe with a CFM airbox and jetted for it. Other then that, his motor is all stock even the header pipe was stock, not even the ceramic coated one. He use's the TLD tranny and says he likes it. All other mods are all bolt on's. He has the Polaris GPM steering dampner with a roll design stem. He also has Axis shocks all around. He still has the stock a-arms, swing arms, tie rods and ends. His Pred doesn't look any different then most part time racers. His quad might have about $11000-$12000 into it and racing against quads with double that amount into them. The other Pro quads I looked at had engine mods, new a-arms and swing arms. Beefy tie rods and ends, Rekluse auto clutches and many more mods. I asked Matt why he hasn't done more to the Pred like the others and he said Polaris want's to show that a nearly stock Pred can race Pro without dumping big cash into them and he feels that the Pred is doing just that.

 

The air box I saw on his Predator look like a UM one. I think he is using a different Carb too not sure on type but it did not look stock.

 

He didn't say anything about the carb, but he did have a different throttle then stock. As far as the airbox, I just saw the aluminum in the back and it looked like my brothers CFM box, but it could be a UM. But either way, there is not much done.

 

I was told he has a 41mm fcr carb,and uses a yamaha craptor throttle. I've been on a hunt for a bigger/better carb and one of the places I called around too told me this info.(i forget who)
