We need a 2nd quad for trail riding in mountians. I live on a christmas tree farm, lots of steep hills. Have a sp500 to do work. Would a traliblazer or trailboss be better for wife & teenagers.

What about a Xplorer 250 m4x4? It will haul those people around and do quite abit of work.

The TrailBlazer is two stroke, the Boss, four stroke. The Blazer is a bit peppier, the Boss is definately one of the slowest quads on the market. The Boss is also about $500 more. My vote would be the Blazer.

Both are great quads. The trail boss was about $200 more than the tblazer when I bought my wifes tboss. ($3,300 vs $3,100). Both are very capable quads. It comes down to whether you want a two stroke or four stroke. My wife heard the two stroke once and decided that was out. She thought it was noisy. Since it is her quad, that made my decision. Ride both and see which you like.

One of the wives in my riding group has a TBoss. She loves it. She used to ride a Suzuki 250. We've all noticed how much more fun she seems to have on her new bike. Her TBoss came with a front rack and hubby added the rear rack. It's more of a sport/utility bike, while the TBlazer is sport. I think both would be good bikes for your purpose, although the TBoss is a little more versitile.(in my opinion)

major difference is 2 stroke /4 stroke and the weight!
Will go muddy trails ???Do not buy a T boss. I will have one for sale soon.Great bike ,not for the muddy trails.
