the 600/700's take 2 qts of oil with a filter change but that seems to be a bit to much. I always use the two full qts. but guys have talked about using just under 2 qts so the oil level isn't over the oil dipstick full level. you are supposed to change the oil not long after breakin so I would recommend putting a few miles on it then dumping the oil and change the filter. you may get some metal particles when changing the oil, this is just part of the break in.
