Polaris and Dodge

I've heard horror stories about Dodge trannies myself. From what I've read on the internet Dodge will be redesigning their pickups for 2003, hopefully the transmission problem will be fixed. I own a Chevy and love it, they are dependable.

dodge is redesigning the Ram for a 2002 model. they are already doing some retooling at the plant for it.i know this because a guy at my church is a manager at the dodge truck plant.
he dident say anything specific except that there will be "big changes" for 02. dodge better have a good one cause ford a a new f150 out early 2002 as a 2003 model. and this one will have a 3-valve head and lots more torque.

Thats funny I've had just the opposite luck with my Ford. 115,000 miles and all I've done is replace the alternator and the positive battery cable. Well I guess thats not entirely true. There were the 7 sets of tires three of those were 36" mud tires, 4 sets of front brakes, 2 rear. 8 sets of windshield wipers, one rear tail light, two front headlight bulbs, two front rotors(my fault, didn't get to the brakes in time), one rear axle seal, and one exhaust system from the cat back.

Nothing like having a $6500 quad in the back of a $2000 pickup. I'd like to see a Remington edition sportsman in the back of a subaru Brat or an 82 Izuzu Pup long bed diesel. Better to see this while parked, otherwise you might laugh your way into a ditch.

There is not a truck out there that could compare to the power of the bowtie. Look at stock vs. stock horsepower and torque. Nobody is even within 30 ponies, and that's all I've got to say about that.
Chevy = power, reliability, and raw strength.
Ford = fixed or repaired daily. My opinion the most gutless of all the trucks. New ones look like an overgrown Toyota.

The only place that I hear this "my truck is better than your truck" is at the race tracks and now this forum. I drive a Dodge truck because my father works for Chrysler and I get a good discount. I think Chevy and Ford also make great trucks. I ride with a group of guys that all work at a GM foundry. Not a one of them ever rips on me for owning a Dodge. One of them even owns a Dodge Truck. This particular foundry makes parts for GM as well as Chrysler. They don't care what brand it is, as long as its American made. The moral of the story is, stop worrying about who's atv is better and who's truck is better and worry about Al "Greenie" Gore getting elected.
