Just thought I would share with you guys that I am leaving to go get a new 800 in less than 3 hrs. I cant wait. I am getting the 2500 winch, front brush guard, and glacier plow 60". Let the mud fly.

Still undecided on the Dalton Blue primary spring......

Anyone else have any more reviews on it.

Bottom end? Same, better, worse
Mid?obviously better?
Top end? Better, same, worse

 

I know the feeling. Just got my 500HO Wednesday. Tomorrow and Monday are the shakedown and breakin days. Have fun and be safe.

Hope you have fun with the 800. I just got 2 500 HOs last month. You said you were getting the front brush guard.. i would get the rear as well its nice to have when backing up in tight places.

 

Happy for ya. I have heard that the fuel/gas mileage on the 800's suck though. good choice on the accessories.

Well I just got back......5hs total driving time. But I saved a ton of money. I got all of the stuff I said earlier, and a pure polaris red and black helmet to match the quad, and a polaris service book....I have to upload some pics before it is covered in mud

I drove it around a little today about 1hr. Man this thing is great. The bottom end torque is great.....It feels like a BF. My friend has one so I know what to compare it to. My brother has a 04.5 700 EFI it feels similar to it but definately more torque and it does ride a little more smoother.

a quick stab of the gas and its all sky. I love it......I am sure it will change with the weight of the wench and push bar though.....
