Default Great ride today

I went out to I believe Mayville near Kingston today to meet Jimmypsp700 and Jefffoxsr to go riding. It was a real nice change of pace to go riding somewhere different. there was plenty of steep inclines and various conditions to play with the new 27" Mudlites again. They definitley handled very well and I am really happy with them although I still wish I had gotten the 27-10-12's for the rear instead of the 27-12-12's. Jim even got some nice pictures of Jeff and I going up and down a decent incline and a good pic of me jumping the 700EFI. the only bad thing about todays ride is that I put my digital camera in my coat pocket and it fell out and broke. thats my fault but then we went through a real muddy trail covered with tree branches hanging over the trail and then I loaded my quad up on the trailer to call it a day and noticed that my key wasn't in the Ignition yet my quad was still running. It was almost like the key either fell out or got pulled out by a branch or something. Well things happen in three's so now I am just waiting for the third thing to happen to me.

The three of us took turns drag racing down the dirt road and had some various results. Jim and I races and he thought we were pretty even but personally I feel his 02' 700 pulled away from me a bit at around 40mph. Jeff and Jim can tell you their results next time they tune in. hopefully Jim will email me some pics from todays ride and/or post some pics for you all to see.

I don't think I was as upset about the camera as I was about the darn key coming out of the Ign. when I got home I tried the spare key and it locks when turned on and I can't pull it out so I don't know how it came out and still stayed runnng.

I agree it was a great time, good riding with you guys...Pictures to come soon.

Sorry about your misfortunes Dave.

Another thing about the races.
Other than your larger tires you had the additional weight of the Glacier plow plate and your W**n winch to factor in. I know the EFIs are faster. Just glad I could keep up.
Jeff's '05 500 HO more than held its own too.
