My question is how the heck do you make the adjustment. How can you get a screwdriver on it where it's located. everything is in the way. What's the trick? Mine is too RICH right now.

I usually take my carb off to adjust it. It's kinda a pain in the butt. Some people use a small bendable screw driver.

My 600 is almost perfect but still has a tiny bog at the bottom, however, with 1/4 choke during warm up it has no bog at the bottom at all and responds awesome. Does that mean I still need to richen the pilot? Another thing, sometimes, when warmed up, after climbing a long hill with a loaded trailer and I stop and turn it off it makes a very soft back fire out the exhaust. These are minor issues, but I just need to know if I can make it better. Thanks

If you pull the choke out and it helps then you are pobably lean. A back fire is also points to a lean condition. You might richen the pilot a little and see if it helps.

10-4, I turned it out about a third after the update had been installed so I probably just need a bit more.

For adjusting mine I use a apex insert that is a regular screw driver and just put white chalk on one side to see how far I am turning it. It is only about 1/2 inch long so you can reach up in there with it without taking the carb out.
