Bore Job to .040 over... problems?
#1
Is there anything else I need to consider for my '94 400L when having the cylinder bored to take an oversize piston? Ie will it affect the compression so much that I'll need to change jetting etc or get the head milled?
The bike is an oldy but a goody and is only intended for light(ish) farm duties, no racing!

let's say,why you gonna go buy for more cash if you can rebuild for cheap
and still better than a big jug, there is no problems over-bore them, but
you'll have less efficient and more rattling of the motor.
piston tend more to piston skirt on the big pistons, but hey i've ran an
.080 in the past and it was awsome torque.
you can squish the heads a little for more hp,but use fresh higher gas
as well.

The biggest problem seems to be getting a piston in a reasonable amount of time!
Polaris parts are hard to find in the UK, so I've decided to import from America... $80 for a Wiseco piston plus postage seems to be the best I've seen so far. I need priority shipping, as I want it in the next few days. Anyone know how much this should cost?
Does anyone know a good shop for Wiseco pistons that will ship overseas?
