Default Best Sparkplugs for Sportman 700

I'm in need of Polaris information so I submit this question to the Qualified ATV Connection members.

I have a 2004 Sportsman 700 and it is still stock!! I know, What am I waiting for??

Well, I think I've gotten used to the power and manners of this mean machine and I'm looking to start upgrading parts. I have my list started and one of the things is Sparkplugs, I can't seem to find much information on this crytical power maker.

Polaris calls for a Champion RC7YC (My 1968 Pontiac GTO uses RC12YC)
This cross references to......

AC Delco: CFR1CLS
Bosch: FR5DC, FR5DP (Platinum Tip)
Denso: IQ22 (Iridium)

I never have liked Bosch plugs from my drag racing background and I don't think an AC Delco plug would offer much of a performance advantage. I do like the design of the Denso but I have not had any experience with them. In my drag cars I use Accel U-Grooves but their plug doesn't cross reference to a RC7YC.

Any Suggestions???????

Thanks,
B.B.

if yours is an EFI, id say to get the bosch plugs, because the EFI is a Bosch system, so it seems like mateing the same companys parts together might have a benifit to performance

spyder makes sense matching up the spark plugs with the rest of the system. I have always liked the bosch platinum plugs, not the plus four's they are junk. but the regular and platinum's are great. one way to make more power from just spark plugs is to get index washers which come in various sizes. they allow the spark plug to be tightened down so that the open electrode is facing the combustion angle.

I've been told before to get rid of the champions and replace them with NGK but have not yet, maybe I'll get rid of that slight hiccup at the bottom of the throttle? what's the number for the Sp600?
