600 oil gone
Hi all,
04 sportsman 600 Carbed
Well had many problems with this bike. No guts My old 96 500 had more ***** and would put 500 HO,s too shame.Ran for 3 mths and lack of power is issue so Dealer says lets do some fixen. Modified Clutch, Jet kit ,added K&n filter,Polaris pipe New tires < itp 589 same 25 ">
New parts added power for 2 weeks then ***** gone.
My bad luck maybe but heres the issues.
We ran a 176 km trail ride in Mattawa,Overheating and happened to check oil at end of ride as the machine quit. NO oil on dipstick? Wouldn't iddle afterwards. Dealer fixed under warrenty.
But no explaination as too where did oil go? blowin black stuff out of exhaust and sputterin.
Drain plug for breather box fillin with snotty oilly stuff.
Now back to dealer as 40 miles and hour to 45 was the best i could do full throttle on flat ice su8rface with studed tires?
I removed plugs one was white one black.
New plugs and still same issue. Dealer says bad plug and is fixing now?
I am having a problem beleiving this is issue and the motor should have been replaced but we will see when i get her back to play.
