Finally i have enough $$$

Well I have been saving for ever and now if I sell my quad right now I will have more than enough $$$ to buy a new quad and I was looking at the Scrambler 500 H.O. I do trails about 80% of the time and playing around in the woods and mud holes that I can find. I am 14 and have a 300EX I love that quad but just doesn't work for my riding what do you think should I get the scrambler or something else.
PS how much do you think I could sell my 1996 300EX for thanks

ANYONE on here can tell you that you just cant go wrong with the Scrambler ho. Tons more power than the ex also. If the ex is in good shape then you should be able to get $1500-1600 for it.

Have you rode a scrambler before? If so you would prob not be asking and would know. I love the way my scrammy handles and it goes through anything. Remember the scrammy is auto, so if you like to shift then I would look elsewere, Myself I love the auto for trail ridding. It also weighs just under 600 pounds and more covered in mud, so if you are a smaller 14 year old it might be a little too much of a quad for you. No offense, I don't know how long you have been riding quads for. I'm not sure if polaris will even sell you a 500 quad, I believe you have to be 16, not sure. Just trying to cover all the basis.

Scramblers are are the best overall bike in my book. Comfortable ride, agile, fast, launches at the dunes, auto trans is the best for trailriding, lots of mods available. only down fall is the clearence compared to the utes. If they would not have come out with the 800 Id have the badest Scrambler.

I havn't rode a scrambler but I for one can say I love my sportsman 700EFI. As far as the KFX700, I like the stance but hat the way the front fenders are blended into the front, just doesn't look right to me.

Silverbullet ,
I know exactly what you mean , the front end stuff looks .... um ..... odd .
Elkbow ,
Sounds like you guys are in the rocky stuff , from my perspective I don't need 4- wheel drive , around here all we have is mud to deal with going through . If I need 4 wheel drive to get around , it's to muddy for this old man . I like riding on golf courses and clover fields . :-)
If I were in the market personally for a new ATV it would be a kfx 700 . The big motor , and the maintence easy driveshaft appeal to me .
