RCR Stage 1 Jetting TB330

Probably go with 2manytoys plan and go with the 25" MudLites, I know the Boss will handle them and the extra ground clearance helps a lot, especially on some of the terrain out here.
I agree with 2many that with just these few simple mods it is a much better overall quad, it won't hang with a 500 Scrammy or SP but you won't be left miles behind either. Until I did the mods I had convinced myself I needed a bigger better quad, turns out getting a good basic quad and then putting a little money into it to liven it up made a lot more sense. Most of the guys I ride with are surprised at what obstacles you can throw at the Boss and it keeps on going.

I got my tires from dennis kirk. They seem to have the best prices. The large lug pattern only starts with 25" sizes and the 25's start at the Sportsman sizes with the 12" wheels. I really want the larger lug tires also .

Give atvnorth.com a call also, I've never used them myself but several of the guys I ride with around here have gone through them and got really good prices and service. They sell "Big Foot Kits"; mounted tires and wheels of your choice.

This seems to be an almost perfect setup trail setup for my Boss. Without the Stage 1 it seemed that long hills would really wind down the machine and I'd find myself at 30mph just going on a slight uphill.
I'm still running stock wheels and tires, probably go with Mudlites once these wear out so that might change things a little.

Give Rick Ritter over at Ritter Cycle Racing a call. He is the guy that does the Stage 1 Performance Kit. Calling him is the easiest and fastest way to get the information you need and order the kit.
Installation is easy but time-consuming, all the fenders, racks and fuel tank need to come off to access the carb and install the exhaust. They are easy to get off. Installation involves changing the main jet, primary clutch spring, cutting the exhaust pipe and drilling two holes in the airbox lid. Mine was out of warranty but I assume it would void the warranty. I bought an airbox lid and exhaust pipe cheap on eBay if I ever wanted to go back to stock.
I can scan in the instructions Rick includes with the kit and e-mail them to you if you want to see what is involved.
As for other mods, I don't know of a whole lot out there for the TB330. I added Sportsman Fender Flares to mine to keep the mud off, you'll find the first time you get in mud that the TB likes to throw it all over you so the flares are a good investment. Most other mods are cosmetic; tires, handguards, a buddy put Magnum 330 racks on his TB330. 2manytoys added a winch to his. There was talk of a Stage 2 mod for the TB330 at one point, not sure as I never looked into it. Talk to Rick and tell him what you want, he will get you setup.
