just bought a New stage 1 kit from rick ritter. Top end pipe the orange spring, jet kit and box mods. Everything works great!!!!!!!!!!!
Rick of course was a great person to deal with. Helped me more over the phone than the local dealer can in person!!!!!!!!!!!

Yea I took mine out for the first real test today, after the clutch kit, airbox mod, and new belt, and I got blisters from trying to hold on all day! I couldnt believe how much different it is. I could have ordered from HPD direct, but anyone that gives as much to the customer as he does deserves the support and praise everyone here gives him!

Rick is the man. I bought the stage 1 kit from him and this weekend was my first big ride after installation. I put a 260 jet in the carb and with the air box mod and the new pipe those scrambler 500's were eating my dust. My brother thought he could take me on his 05 sportsman 600. He was sniffing my 2 stroke smoke. Great products and awesome customer service Rick.

 

how did you found the top end pipe?
we did a couples comparaisons test few years back with the HPD rp8,
the rcr was sucking more air partially at all throttle and was braoder
a lot,but the hpd was fastest and more efficient to jets.
the shape is only the problem with that kind of pipe,but is a mean
trail ride.

 

the pipe that came in the kit is manufactured by hpd!! Rick just puts it all together in a real nice kit. Besides his support is were its at!!!

 

can you get the same setup with a spark arrestor? They're required here in CO. I'm looking for an exhaust/clutch combo soon.

 

I too bought a stage one kit from Rick, unlike you guys, Im in Australia. The local dealer wanted to charge me twice what I paid Rick, & that was for Hot seat stuff....

Now on to the bike, it really woke up after fitting the kit, really made a big difference.... Excellent service....excellent products...
