Default k+n, uni, or twin air

Any opinions on which to go with? This will be going on my 92 trailboss 250, it's all stock, and never sees mud being it's 2wd. Stock air box also. I have a k+n on my 4wd 250 and enjoy the wash and go.

i love my uni filter..real easy to clean and i dont ride in mud all that much so it only gets dirty from dust of course but it just slips on and off..i generally just dip it in gas and have it cleaned in 5 minutes..u wouldnt be dissappointed with a uni

They're all good, just make sure to properly/frequently maintain them.

Isn't the k+n about twice as much money? Then if I mod this thing which would then be better, after an airbox mod?

k&n isn't the only real performance. yes k&n flows more air but also flows more contaminants. (dirt) when it's dusty i use an oiled foam filter, when it's not, a k&n. there's not that much of a noticable difference in power at least none on my scrambler. when using a k&n it's a good idea to run an outerwears prefilter with it.

We all run twin air filters.......We use to use the K&N. I picked up a ton of throttle response with the twin air. IMO the twin air is the best!
