Okay you polaris experts, I am going to look for the hub splines and axle nuts on the rear of my SP 500. How do I get at them and where are they anyways? Gotta find this clicking, its driving me nuts!

My guess is your clicking is coming from one of your front brake calipers clicking when a high spot in the disc rubs it and makes a clicking sound. Jack up the front and rotate the front wheels while looking and listening. Thats a very common thing on Polaris. Gluing the pads to the caliper piston works well in most cases unless the disc is real warped.

Okay, after getting a little anxious and wanting to find out more, I researched the parts on the online manual and found out where I think the clicking is at. After removing a rear wheel and backing off the axle nut, I found that teh whole hub spline was loose which connects to the axle. I don't have a set of heavy duty lock ring pliers to remove the axle hub yet, but I will shortly and repack the whole assembly with grease. Is that mentioned in the owners manual for routine inspection and grease repacking? If not, it should, as my splines were quite dry after removing the wheel hub. They oughta have a grease nipple placed on that hub for routine added grease I would think.
