can i use this on a 94 400 utility and how much does it help? will it give you more top end. do they let to much dirt through?thanks

 

I just put one on my 350L. I jetted up one size on the main jet just to be on the safe side. Look in Dennis Kirk.

 

Should be able to get one for around $40 and $10 for an outerwares prefilter.

They help it breath more but you will not notice much if any seat of the pants.
You may or may not need to rejet depending on your current conditions (rich /lean running).
I have one in all my vehicles, keep em oiled and youll be fine.

if your bike is a 400 2 stroke you will probably notice some power gains ,if it is a 4 stroke not so much ,this is what my experience has been with them, I put one on a 2000 400 xplorer 2 stroke and it really woke this quad up ,I have one on my 04.5 500 ho 4stroke that I currently ride and I don't notice any difference in power,but it is still worth buying because you are able to clean and reuse it many times.
