Hey Everyone.. i was wondering what would win in a race between the YFZ450 and the Predator500... And what is the top speed of both?

 

what do you mean as in race, drag, or track? the YFZ will beat a preddy at a track most of the time and will beat the pred most of the time in a drag (because of such good bottom end power). it really depends on the rider for both of those. i have dragged against YFZs and beat every single one, i have also seen preddys get beaten. so it really depends on what you have done to your quad, weight, terrain, conditions, your level of riding, paddles/no paddles, elevation, and the list goes on and on. the YFZ tops out at about 68/69. the preddy tops out at about 75 (dirtwheels clocked it at 74.7). hope that answered your question.

 

YFZ...how do you like the E2 exhaust good power?

yfz all the way i had a predator hooked up pretty decent and i can feel a complete difference in power and performance yamaha is over all a better bike... the yfz takes out raptors and the raptor beat the predator in the last shootout...

 

I ride with a couple Preddys. They both have slip ons and K&Ns and they run with piped YFZs (win some, lose some) and both will smoke my Raptor.

Ozark38...I commend you on your honesty, but I am sure most Raptor riders will condem you.

 

RAJ, Have you ever went up that monster hillclimb? I am gonna go for it this summer. Around july 30th. Of course i am gonna give the drag racing a shot too.
