Thinkin of changing to amsoil
have 02 sportsman 700 carb. POLARIS says 500 and 700 use different oil filters
amsoil say they are the same. Amsoil says 103 for both.
what ya think?

 

WIX filters says that they are different as well. According to the specs on both filters, it appears that the 700's filter is just longer.

 

I use the Amsoil SMF 103 on my 700.

 

Who carries Amsoil oil I can't find it anywhere around me?

 

You can buy it online here.. If you plan to cutover to it you might want to sign up to be a Preferred Customer since you basically get to buy it at distributor pricing. It does cost $25.00/year though. I've also see GI Joes carry some of their products. You may want to give them a call if there is one in the area.
