I have been kicking around buying a new bike. My brother has an 05 sportsman 600 that is awesome. I have looked at the 500,600,700,and 800. I like the EFI on the 700 and 800 cause those twins with the carbs are cold blooded. I also like the reliability of the 500 so I am torn on which bike to buy. As far as utility work goes, I will buy the glacier plow to plow the driveway and get the winch to pull all those hondas out of the mud but I mostly trail ride. Not sure which one I will get. The wife already gave me the thumbs up to get a new one. I might just wait until the 06's come out and get the 05 for a couple hundred less. I like all the storage on the 05's. Any suggestions would be appriciated.

 

I've test riden then all........... Personaly, I'm sold on the proven 500 HO. The improvements on the 2005 model had me trade in my 2004.5 for the 500 HO "LE". Forums are a great place to hear everyone's views but ultimately, you're buying the quad so you must rely on your own instincts AFTER trying them all !!

 

cant agree more. I have the same bike as paramedic and i have about 300 miles on mine already. Wouldnt trade it for anything.
