Default Brute Force 750 vs King Quad 700 vs Sportsman 800

First of all I want to say that I am not trying to start a battle. I want opinions because I am getting ready to drop $7,000 on a Quad and I want to ride the best. I have been looking at 3 quads, the Brute Force 750, the Suzuki King Quad 700 EFI, and the Polaris Sportsman 800 Twin EFI. I have asked a number dealerships to compare the Brute Force to the other two quads and most wont say anything negative about the competitor. This in a way is good, I am glad that the dealer is respecting the other brands, but at the same time it is hard for a buyer to find the advantages/disadvantages of one quad over another. The only opinion that I was given was from a kid yesterday that sells Kawi's and Suzuki's. He said that the King Quad would smoke a Brute force in every aspect, race, mud, handling, everything. I reminded him that the KQ was a single cylinder and he was comparing it to a V-twin with more CC's but he said that didnt matter. He also said that the Polaris was powerful, but behind in the quality department.

I know that most of the people selling these big bores however, probably dont even ride themselves. This is why I am posting on here, I want some feedback from new owners, old owners, owners that switched brands, and whay you did. Like I said, I dont want a war, I just want facts. I am going to post this on the Polaris and Suzuki website also to get a broad spectrum of opinions/facts. Thanks for the info guys, I appreciate it.

wait and get the BRP Outlander Twin 800 EFI, a true 800CC big bore v-twin. This big beast packs a 62HP, 52lbs torque monster twin cylinder Rotax engine, by far the most powerful ATV on the market.

If you're looking to translate that to pure speed, BRP claims the Outlander 800 has 28% more rear wheel speed (as measured by Matech Technologie Inc rear wheel dyno) than the Polaris, 25% more than the BruteForce, and 54% more than the King Quad

I don't think that kid knew what he was talking about. As far as acceleration goes, Brute Force and Sp 800 are really close, maybe with the Brute edging it out. But both of those can beat a Suzuki KQ 700. I think that Kawasaki and Suzuki have had major recalls and problems with those two, but I've heard nothing but good things about the Polaris. Ironic how things work out.

As far as the ride goes, toss up between Sportsman and KQ. And as for the mud, well nothing touches a Polaris in the mud and muck. As for racing, go with a sport quad, don't try racing these things. The BF and the KQ are top heavy, with the SP just being a little heavy, but that's not always a bad thing.

Do what Kawasakiruls said. Go and ride each one and see how each fits you. That's the best thing to do.

My vote goes to the Polaris Sportsman 800......Naturally.

Liberty 800 motor makes 63 horsepower at the crank :/ i wouldnet doubt though that that rotax engine is a fine motor, i want to see what the exhaust set up is

I have been on all 3 of these. For plush ride, comfort, deep mud and just kick a$$ looking the Polaris easily. The Brute force just looks tough and the power is absoluitly there. It hooks up immediately and pulls hard all the way. But they are having problems now. The KQ is a good all around ute. It has good power but not as much as the BF and Pol. The ride is good not soft but not hard. It wont handle the deep mud and it felt tippy to me. I really like the BF power but the looks and handling of the Polaris. It would be a hard choice between the BF and the Pol.

I would have to agree with 600towtruck and 2manytoys.

I would add that the KQ is probably the sportier ride (stiffer) and that the BF is the fastest (but tippy) in a strait line drag up to top end but the 800 is quicker to 20 and 30 mph.

The sp800 has them beat on ride quality and features such as the storage boxes, wheels and tires.
Premium features on the Polaris! Look and compare the suspension and chassis in the showroom side by side.

If it were me, I would throw the Kaw out. I have heard many not so good things about it. The only good thing I have ever heard about it is the power it has. The ZUKE is a nice work horse but I would throw it out too. I would go for the SP800, I have never ridden one but I have ridden a SP700 and its awesome. I'm sure theyre similar in a lot of ways. Then tack on a few more HP's and WOW.
