Default Anyone from Wisconsin?

I’m glad someone started this post! I live in Northern Illinois and have gone up to St Germain and all the surrounding area for years with the snowmobiles.

Recently my friends have all bought quads and we have been discussing going up to Iron County or anywhere else they allow them (Vilas County wont allow them on the trails) I take it they run on the snowmobile trails. I have talked to a few about it and they said it’s basically the same thing as sledding (bar to bar) He also said its dusty and a windshield is a good idea.
What kind of speeds range are the trails?
Can you get gas easily like you can snowmobiles?
Can we run them right up to the motels or do we have to trailer them to a drop off point?

I really want to put together a trip and try it so any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I live in East Troy. I have been riding ATV's since I was 12 all over the state. The most common places I hit are Hurley(Iron County)----the best trails by far, Black River Falls/Clark County---decent trails but very sandy/dusty, and Park falls. Actually, I am leaving this weekend to Black River Falls for Labor Day riding. Every Memorial & Labor day we go with a group of about 8-10 ATvs and ride either in Hurley or Black River.

See everyone on the trails!!!

Brandon
