my 2nd cousin that works there well she is like a sister to me we are together all the time told me about this in a meeting they had. well she said that the last thing they said during this meeting was that nobody outside the polaris factory is supposed to know about it so well here i am to spill the beans. congrats it should be something new and exciting. and of corse you wouldn't hear about this if they are just letting the employee's know. and remember my nickname so when they do release it you can thank me lol bring it up to your dearlerships and impress them with your knowledge when they release it.

Maybe they are trying to find their leaks in the corporate office. A sport quad with IRS would be unusual.

unusual usually means money cause it is new to i guess and i think if they can make it light enough could you imagine going over the woops and rough terrain with it? if they get rid of that sway bar on it and have true independent that really articulates it could be good. but then again you gotta look at losing power with having an independent cause turning them halfshafts is like turning a whole nother axle back there.

I think an IRS setup on a Predator would be, well, dumb. Why would you want it? Predators are built for race tracks, not articulating rough terrain. I dont think there will ever be a market for that in the sport quad world. Its weight would kill the quad. Think of everything that would have to be added, more frame, more suspension componenets and some sort of rear differential. Thats a lot of extra weight compared to a swing arm and straight axle set up. I think maybe your cuz misunderstood. And if she didnt, Polaris is setting them selves up for a big loss in cash. They have to have designers make this idea work, tooling and material to manufacture it. That stuff isnt cheap. Just out of Curiosity, Who would want a 2wd sport quad with IRS?

independent on the predator would be the worst thing they ever did,IMO..they would be better off adding it to the scrambler, and even that would be very very stupid..
