BAD NOISE

Default BAD NOISE

IVE GOT A HORRABLE NOISE COMING FROM THE REAR OF MY SCRAMBLER UNDER A LOAD AND SEEMS TO BE GETTING WORSE.I REPLACED THE CHAIN AND ITS LOSE NOW I QUESS IT STRECHED IM GOING TO TIGHTEN IT BUT IM AFFRAID ITS COMING FROM THE TRANSMISION.IS IT A BIG DEAL TO REPLACE THE CHAIN IN THERE?HOW MUCH O THE EXPLORER TRANNYS SELL FOR AND IS IT A BIG DEAL TO TO THAT SWAP?

did you look the sprockets over to be sure there isnt any missing teeth?

YEA THEY LOOKED GOOD WHEN I REPLACED CHAIN BUT IM GONNA CHECK AGAIN

2 or 4wd??? Also, don't use upper case to type in forums, it gives the sense you're yelling at peeps. 2wd isn't bad, 4wd takes longer.

Sorry about caps everything i do at work is that way so its habbit.its 4x4 400.what do you know about the explorer tranys?is it a bay job to do the chain or more any tips? thanks for the help

Depends on your mechanical aptitude for the job, don't know about the exploder trans though.

on the explorer trans: I believe it is a simple bolt on job, from what I understand it goes right in. I couldn't Imagine a low range in my scrammy I can barely hold on as it is
