Thinking about doing mine. Of all the painted surfaces, they probably see the most wear and tear. It probably wouldn't be too expensive and could actually provide more traction over plain painted metal. Has anybody else done this?

i havent done it yet, but i think i would like to. it sure seems like a good idea. it would keep the rust from developing during the winter.

if you do it, keep us posted. id like to know what the cost is.

I think it's a high quality spray in bed-liner for trucks.

Click here for more info. I called the two nearest shops today to see if I could get a ballpark figure over the phone but both wanted to look at it first. I'll take it by next week sometime. I'll keep you guys posted. I'll have pics too when I get it done.

I don't know if they can do the plastic. I think I read once that it's applied at like 1500°?

Decided to wait until my back rack comes in so I can get it done too all at the same time.

For the small area you are talking about, have you thought about using the do-it-yourself kit? Of course, whoever you have do it, might do it for side cash when they do a pick-up bed Can't imagine they would use that much material.
