spewing coolant!!
Welcome aboard triedntrue. Can you see coolant circulating with the rad cap off and the engine running? Has your quad been in deep mud recently? Could be your fan also, check for loose wire conncections and obstructions in the fan (sticks or mud).
More help is on the way I'm sure.
Good luck.

What good would pulling the thermostat do??
The thermostat tells the fan when to come on,
Pulling that means the fan will never come on,unless a manual fan switch is installed
was the overflow bottle filled between the lines?
Did you test your fan?
another culprit could be a bad thermostat switch.

No, I haven't been in any deep mud or anything. The fan is clear of obstructions and will turn freely. Actually, the thermostat doesn't make the fan come on. There is a thermal switch at the bottom of the radiator that controls the fan. I thought this switch was bad until I took this switch out while the coolant was blowing out of the reservoir and that water was cool, hence the fan not coming on. I pulled the top and bottom hoses off the radiator and ran water through it was the water hose and the radiator doesn't seem to be clogged. Any other ideas????

Mine did the same thing after I had about 800 miles on. The bike did not seem to be over heating either so I took off my rad cap and ran it for a few minutes to see if there was any air in the system. I then washed and blew out my rad really good after and have not had any problems since. I think there must have been an air lock in the system.
