My dealer suggested make a "heat shield" under the tank to keepo the heat away and recommended going to 89 octane, which is boils off at a slightly higher temp. I will try it and let you know. As far as the vibrations....i just sold a 98 Trail blazer..clutched and piped...it wasn't too bad at idle. Never had any issue with fuel spilling.

Tell your dealer to quit smokin crack, the vent on the Polaris tanks is up high, under the front cab. This vent is one of the small clear tubes up in the top of the steering post. Either the vent is kinked, or you're filling it up too much cold, & when it warms, the fuel expands & vents out.

The excessive venting occurs after riding for a long period of time in warm conditions- regardless of how full the tank is. What is happening is that the tank is heated up by the motor, the gas naturally wants to expand and vents, while venting the fuel condensates int he line and drips out. I checked the line there is no kinking or blockages. Seems about the only option to remove the heat from the tank to stop the venting.
