when my needle came loose it acted the same, but they probably would have figured out the needle cap being loose, but hey, you never know. 0-ring on the needle cab was bad.

The 2 bottom parts replaced that you list, are a taper bearing and and taper bearing cup. Not carb parts. I did not look up the parts list to see where they go, but I think that was answersd above..

Update:

Got the bike back from the dealer & they said nothing was wrong with the bike. It would not idle for longer than 2 minutes when warm.

Took the bike to a mechanic with an engine dyno. They ran the bike and said the numbers were weak. It would not make power until about 8000-8500 rpms. The bike quit on the mechanic with a loud clack. They said they would look into what was wrong because something was really wrong.

I got a call from the mechanic & the dealer NORTH COUNTY YAMAHA in San Diego put the motor together with both timing chains RETARDED ONE TOOTH.

I called the dealer & explained their error & they said sorry we'll give you a $200.00 gift certificate toward future purchase??? I would stay away from this dealer at all costs. THEY DO'NT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK.

Yeah, I'm just glad it didn't bend the valves. The mechanic said that it had about 20,000ths clearance with both chains retarded. It's back to its old self ripping up dunes. Can't wait for desert season!

Good to hear you are back up and running. BTW, is the bike under warranty? It would suck to get caught in a lot of out of pocket expenses that was the dealers fault in the first place. Seems like maybe thats the case since they offerred you the gift certificate.

Nope no warranty.

I have to get me money in the satisfaction that none of my friends will ever use NORTH COUNTY YAMAHA again.

They said it would not have cost them very much to fix the bike? They did not have the care or the proper tools to find the problem. Can't wait for desert season to start so I rip up some sand!

Sue them in Small Claims Court. I was going to get my Outlaw from NYC now I will get it from Alba or Motoworld

I am contacting my credit card company to pursue a fradulant warranty claim, then its off to small claims court. I don't take getting screwed lightly.

I don't think ALBA sells Polaris. Both Motoworld and Alba do a lot to support the off-road organizations fighting to keep our sport alive. That outlaw looks awesome.
