rev limit on phoenix 200
#4
Asking for trouble? Why... the motor is not designed to be limited, it missfires all the time, it goes as fast downhill as it does uphill. And i don't like it.
The american version is not the same as the swedish one, the schematics are not the same. Doe's anyone have schematics of the European version of the CDI-box?
Greetings.... Erik Olofsson

I suspect you have a battery problem . I have not looked into the operation of the ignition but I do know on my Phoenix if the fuse under the seat is blown the machine goes into an early miss .

i wouldn't completely take it off, you can revv to high and then blow your engine, id just buy one that allows it to rev higher, like if yours stop at 8000 buy one like that allows it to rev to 11500 or something

Yeah, i would do that if i knew where it was. Do you have any information about where i can buy a hi-rev box then?
It's for a Polaris Phoenix 200... another name of the motor is AEON 220 or Jets Marivent 220.

And Rick, it's not the fuse under the seat, checked that. It all has to do with some kind of limiter.... I just don't know how to remove it. The american version has a different cdi/electrical schematic, saw that in my service-manual.
