What year did Polaris change from chain to shaft drive on the Scramblers??Or did they??

Rear is still chain, the rest is shaft.

so what year did they switch to shaft?? I ask cause I'm thinkin of replacin my 96 sport for a newer 4x4 scrammy & I don't want chain drive.

i would go with at least a 2000. just a lot of improvements then.
