How Fast Does Your Scrammy Go?
#1
Took a GPS out with me today and I topped out at 60mph at 6500rpm. I figure I wasn't getting full shift out because the tach stayed at 6500 the whole time even at max speed. I do have a tight spring that doesn't engage untill about 3000rpm. What do you guys think, how fast are you guys going at 6500?

60.....two stroke....with thoes mods???
I think you are running slow, and yes that is the rev limiter on the scrammy, at least that is what it is on our 700
Stock should be able to do what you are doing

Well I get to 60 pretty darn quick and then that's it. I have plenty of power and think I should go faster if the gearing will let me. Maybe a clutch problem but I don't know what the fastest speed a 4wd can go is with the stock gearing. I don't want to loose my 4wd and that's the only way to change the sprockets is to ax the 4wd.

Hey SCramma you need to try a differant primary spring like a HPD brown or HPD red/white.You should be pulling close to or just over 7000 rpms. What shift weights you running?I may have a great pipe for your bike in a week or so if my 400 doesnt sell.
