Sometimes I like to put my light switch in between low n high anfd have all 3 lights on , is this bad for my machine in any way ? Thanks

 

My 97 500 sportsman has been doing this for over 12,000 miles not a single problem even with hand grip heaters

 

i dont see why it could be necessarily bad for it.

Potential fire hazard. I would not run it this way ever, the switch is bound to burn out.

If you read the post "sportsman headlight Mod" posted 8 April 05 a lot of people are talking about how bad it is to run the switch half between high and low. They do offer other solutions to the problem light a mod so that you can run 1, 2 or 3 lights.

Yeah I dont ride it with all 3 lights on so Iam not gunna buy anything to make it do it safely , I was just wondering
