Clay city is the exit before the Slade exit which is the exit for the Red river gorge exit off of the mountain parkway. You into hiking Spyder? even if your not, before you go back to Michigan you need to check it out. Clay city has a dirt drag strip for cars and about 2000 acres of mountain trail riding. long hill climbs to cliffs with awesome views. there are a bunch of lakes with excellent fishing i hear too. you can go riding till dusk then watch the drags at night. they don't charge you to watch the drags if you pay to ride. the last price i saw was 15 a day or 25 for two nights. they allow camping too.

crappy internet service booted me, there is no good way to get from la grange to 64 east but thats the way you would go Spyder. take it about 30 miles east of lexington then get on the mountain parkway for about 60 miles.

looks like they got a nice place, but it seems pretty rednecky, i plan on getting out there and attempt to kill myself and demolish my 800 by jumping it off the table top jump (just playin, but seriously, but not really)

well in kentucky anyway i don't know any redknecks that hang out with christians. well then again i know some redneck baptists who would tell you your a sinner then offer to beat it out of you. boy how did we get here? well i'm headin for the sack. 5:15 comes early. nice talkin to yah. i'll have to look into signing up for aol instant messenger. i'm a little leary though becuase i've heard horror stories about there passing around viruses. i rebuild computers and reload operating systems for people who have been wiped out by viruses and 75 percent of them got them from instant messaging software. primarilly aol.

Buck's Run isn't so much religeous as it is just good values/common sense. No alcohol, drugs, etc...
It is a bit redneck, but, it's big enough that we don't pass people on the trails too often. It's small enough to cover the entire place in half a day though. The table top is a bit crowded sometimes and if it's dusty, look out for traffic. They close the MX track to ATVs if it is too dusty out. But, it is a mile long so you are generally spaced out plenty to play hard.
The trails range from simple to technical and there are some very challenging (especially when muddy), hills with the Predator. The sportsmans can make them all, I'd say. There is also a mub bog if you are in to that. This weekend will be nice with lower humidity. We are heading there about 9am Sunday (less crowded in the AM).
My group will definitely need to check out Clay City...
