i have never had this happen before some one told me it might be the chain in the tranny is that possible

 

ummm wtf...where is the tick comin from bro could be that your valves need some adjusting

 

it's coming from the tranny i think it only happens when you get on the gas hard and when you go over a bump.

 

whats the quad?

my scrambler ticks when you give it gas, or like a buzz sort of, but it sounds like its coming from the recoil starter. isnt the tranny on them right next to the counter sproket? i dont think i hear the same thing as you. and also, were is all of you text? did it disappear?

 

it's a 2000 250 trailblazer is sounded like a couple of rollers on the chain was broke at first but once u get close to the tranny its coming from inside my cousin thought it might some type of rev limiter cause the noise only happens when u get on the gas hard.

 

I had the same happen on my 03 TB 250 it was the drive chain in the trans. had some broken links and alot of slack in it. the grears it runs on were fine. mine would do it if you were stuck and got on the throttle really hard without spinning the tires. sounds like yours is worse then mine you might drain the tranny oil out and see if there is anything on the drain plug magnet... that should give you a idea whats up.
